Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Creator OS (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the Creator OS application and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Creator OS is a content-operations platform for creators and their small teams. It provides AI-assisted topic ideas and scripting, a project board with approval and assignment workflows, scheduling and one-click publishing, a unified inbox for direct messages, audience and newsletter tools, and channel and per-post statistics — across the social platforms you connect.
The Service is currently offered as a private beta. See Section 6.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Creator OS. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to enter into these Terms — including, if you act on behalf of an organization, the authority to bind that organization.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for the information you provide when you register, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. We store passwords only as bcrypt hashes — never in plaintext — but you must still choose a strong password and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Connected platforms and third-party services
Creator OS connects to third-party platforms (such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn) via OAuth. When you connect an account, you authorize us to access and act on that account on your behalf, strictly within the scopes you grant — for example to read channel and post metadata, display and send direct messages, and publish or schedule content when you trigger those actions.
- Your use of each connected platform remains subject to that platform's own terms and policies. You are responsible for complying with them, and nothing you do through Creator OS may violate them.
- The platforms are independent third parties. Their APIs, rate limits, availability, and pricing are outside our control and may change or restrict functionality (including paid or metered access) at any time.
- You may disconnect any platform at any time from the Profile page, which revokes our stored access tokens.
5. Your content
You retain all ownership of the content you create, upload, or publish through Creator OS (“Your Content”) — including projects, drafts, scripts, captions, media, and messages. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service — for example to render it in the app, run AI actions you request, and deliver it to the platforms you publish to.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to Your Content and to any media, trademarks, or third-party material it contains, and that publishing it does not violate any law or third-party right.
6. Private beta
The Service is provided during a private beta on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Beta features may be incomplete, may change or be removed without notice, and may contain errors. The Service is currently free during the beta; we may introduce paid plans in the future, and we will give reasonable notice before any charges apply to you. We do not provide any uptime, support, or service-level guarantee during the beta.
7. AI-generated content
Creator OS uses third-party AI models to generate suggestions, topic ideas, scripts, captions, and other drafts. AI output can be inaccurate, biased, incomplete, or not original, and is generated automatically without human review by us.
- You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated output before you publish or rely on it.
- We make no warranty that AI output is accurate, fit for a particular purpose, free of third-party rights, or that it will achieve any particular performance.
- As between you and us, you are responsible for the content you choose to publish, whether AI-assisted or not.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or the terms or policies of a connected platform.
- Post or publish content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, deceptive, or spam.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems; probe or circumvent security; or interfere with normal operation.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or build a competing service from the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
9. Team members and workspaces
If you invite teammates into your workspace, you are responsible for their access and use of the Service in connection with your account. Members receive role-based access to the projects, content, and platform data you share with them. You are responsible for assigning appropriate roles and for removing members who should no longer have access.
10. Intellectual property
The Service — including its software, design, branding, and content we provide — is owned by Creator OS and protected by intellectual- property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own creator operations. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy, and we delete your account data within 30 days of an account deletion request.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content (including AI output or third-party platform data) will be accurate or reliable.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Creator OS and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or content, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Because the Service is offered free during the private beta, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Creator OS from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right (including any connected platform's terms).
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes may be communicated by email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution.
